Do not wear a choker with a law cut dress.
If you are a fan of chockers, save them for your button up shirts justlow cut dress will create a large distance between your neck and chest making your chest look too large. Instead, you should wear a longer necklace or no necklace at all.
Minimize cleavage by layering.
Shirts that do not show much cleavage on smaller busted girls gives too much of a view on bigger busted women. You can minimize this effect by layering a thin t-shirt with a higher collar underneath the low cut shirt or blouse.
Tight clothing makes you look bigger.
If you are spilling out of your clothing, or find yourself constantly adjusting your shirts, you need to go up a size. I realize no on wants the tag in their clothing to reveal a bigger size, but by wearing something too tight, your shirt is screaming out that it is too small. At least you can always cut the tag out of the clothing item.
Wearing too big clothes can make you look bigger too.
Going up too many sizes to hide your assets completely will also make you look bigger than you are. Pick the largest part of your body, whether it is your stomach or chest and purchase an item that covers without being too big. Then alter the item to fit the other part of your body, as it will likely bee too big in that area.
Lower that belt.
High waist tops and belts are all the rage right now, and a lifesaver is you want to cover a large middle. Unfortunately, they make a large bust look bigger.
Tips for Perfect Foundation Make-Up
Pick a Color that Matches Your Skin Tone
It is also important to choose cosmetic foundations that looks natural (closely matches your coloring) and fits the desired effect you are seeking. You may require a separate concealer for skin blemishes, blotches, under eye dark rings and other discolorations.
Foundation should be applied to the skin first, before any other make up product, since other products may not blend as well to the naked skin and may even make blemishes and flaws look more pronounce.
Cosmetic foundations may be water-based, oil-based or oil-free, with varied consistencies and coverage, and are available in liquid, cream or powder form.
Loose Powder Cosmetic Foundations...
Powder adds the finishing touch to your foundation and keeps you looking fresh throughout the day. Powder can be used on its own to look natural. Be careful not to use too much powder, especially around the eyes where the excess powder can settle into the fine lines.
Powder based cosmetic foundations have the function of combining both foundation and powder in one product. It 'sets' your foundation to make it last, it adds a matte finish to the skin that looks fresh, makes the skin seem finer by making the pores seem smaller. You will only need concealer in addition to this rather that setting the foundation with powder.
Generally, moist products are applied first and other powders follow. But when you use powder foundation, you apply the concealer first. Then, using a latex sponge, spread the foundation across the whole face including eyelids, but not the lips.
Pressed Powder Foundations...
Pressed cosmetic foundations give a smooth, matte finish to the skin that helps control shine. It can be applied with either a damp or dry sponge. At first, it takes practice to use the right amount of powder.
This type of foundation works for all skin types and is easy to carry around since it's not as messy as loose powder. This makes it quick and handy for touch ups. It is available in more shades than loose powder.
When choosing a shade, get one as close to your foundation color as you can and use lightly since it tends to accumulate on your skin during touch ups.
Concealer
Concealer provides extra cover to specific areas of the face that require more cover than that provided by cosmetic foundations alone such as dark circles under the eyes,
google_protectAndRun("ads_core.google_render_ad", google_handleError, google_render_ad);
a pimple, tiny veins, or redness at the sides of the nose. Concealer also offers a good base for eye shadow when applied to the eyelids.
Concealers generally come in stick, liquid, or cream form. For blemishes, a thick dry stick concealer is good; liquid concealers are thin and runny; cream works for almost everything and everyone.
Concealer should be one or two shades lighter than your cosmetic foundations and have the same undertone (go two shades lighter for very dark circles). Concealer comes in a limited number of shades.
Liquid Foundations...
These usually offer light to medium coverage, can be applied using a sponge and are available in a wide range of colors that can be mixed to obtain in-between shades to match your skin tone (only mix cosmetic foundations of the same brand). Because liquid foundation is a more lightweight finish than compact it tends to be easier to use on dry skin. It is also best applied using cosmetic sponges.
To avoid a streaky finish place a very small amount of foundation on sponges and always brush over with powder. The powder helps the cosmetic foundations last longer.
Make sure you get the right cosmetic foundations for your skin type - choose an oil-based foundation for dry skin, water-based foundation for normal skin, and "oil-free" foundation for for oily skin. You can apply moisturizer 5 to 10 minutes before beginning your face powders application.
Cream Foundation...
When using a cream-based cosmetic foundations, concealer may be applied either before or after the foundation. Use a wedge-shaped latex sponge and light strokes to apply the foundation across the face.
You can tell how a cream formula will cover by how it feels to the touch. The thicker and heavier it feels, the more it covers. So if it feels slightly dry it offers light to medium cover. Very rich cream pigments are used for stage.
Try not to cover too thick with cream foundation or it may look artificial and draw attention to itself.

How to make a unique lip color using eyeshadow, clear lip gloss, lip balm or Vaseline. It's do it yourself beauty!
Are you tired of all your regular glosses and lip colors? Did you know that can use your eye shadow to get otherwise hard to find wild colors for your lips? And the best part is, it’s super easy. The supplies are readily available at your local drugstore. You might already have some of them. To begin, you will need:An eye shadow color (or colors!) of your choice.
A nail file or x-acto knife, or other slim object which can be used to scrape off some of the eye shadow
A squeezable clear lip gloss, lip balm in a tube, or Vaseline. In a pinch, chapstick or other lip balm in a stick can be used.
A lip brush
Tissues
Next, you’ll need something to mix on. A clean plastic lid from a container, or a plastic plate should do nicely. If you are mixing up enough to use later, you will also want something to store the extra lip color in. You can buy small plastic and ceramic pots in the drugstore. These work the best, as would an empty container of Carmex (the kind that comes in the ceramic pot with the yellow lid). You can also consider one of those pill-a-day containers – this is nice because it provides space for seven different gloss colors.
Actually making your colored gloss is easy and can be done in three simple steps:
To begin:
Step One:
Use the knife or file to scrape some eye shadow onto your mixing plate. You will want more or less shadow depending on how rich you want the color to be. More powder will obviously yield a more intensely pigmented lip color.
Step Two:
You simply squeeze out the lip gloss right on to your newly powdered color. (If you’re using chapstick, you can use the knife to cut a small amount from the end. This will also come in handy to mix it, as the chapstick will be harder to incorporate color into – though it can be done)
Make sure you don’t add too much of your gloss or other product.
Step Three:
Mix the color and the gloss together. This can be done any number of ways, with the nail file, your finger, or a lip brush. Additionally, department store makeup counters often have small plastic paddles that are made for this very purpose. They can be obtained fairly easily and cheaply.
And there it is – new makeup, made by you. Apply your new lipcolor with your finger or a lip brush
Clean up with the tissues – you’ll have to wash the nail file with soap and warm water to get the gloss off – and you’re done!
Things to remember: This is not a particularly long-wearing product. The length of wear depends on the quality of your gloss. Sephora.com makes a clear gloss that’s super long wearing. Make Up For Ever’s super lip gloss and Hard Candy’s Super Clear Lip gloss are also good choices on the expensive side, but really, you can use any lip gloss, and Vaseline and Carmex will also work. Just keep experimenting!

How to do body art with adhesive jewels
Tips, instructions and design ideas for making body art with adhesive jewels that stick to the skin.
Whether you’re going to a party or you just want to shine tonight, adhesive jewels make it easy to glimmer in style. There are so many colors and so many designs, and all you have to do is remove the paper backing and stick to your skin. Try some of these ideas for looking beautiful with jewels:
1) Tiny adhesive jewels look beautiful when you outline your eyebrow, or use them instead of eye shadow. Tweezers will help you to place the jewels, since their size makes it difficult to hold between fingers. The shapes can be tiny diamonds or bitty circles in silver, gold or multi-color. Instead of outlining the entire eyebrow, add a row of diamonds in the shape of the upper part of the eyebrow.
2) Make a choker by placing several rows of jewels around the neck.
3) Make bracelets, necklaces, or anklets by arranging the jewels in unique shapes around wrists or ankles. Or, place a row of the jewels around the upper part of the arm for a jeweled arm band.
4) Use one large jewel, like a teardrop shape in a diamond color to place under the eye, high on the cheek, to represent a tear. It should be large enough to be noticeable, but not so large that it weighs heavily on the cheek.
5) Make a unique arrangement with the jewels on the back of the hand. Start from the side of the wrist, placing the jewels in an arc up to the lower knuckle of the middle finger, then arc out and back to the opposite side of the wrist. Or follow those instructions, but make a loop on the back of the hand before going over to the opposite side of the wrist. You can also just choose a design, use a stencil, and place a butterfly, bumble bee, rose, or another design on the back of the hand.
6) Stick one small jewel on the side of the nose or on the eyebrow for a nose ring or eyebrow ring appearance.
7) Wrap the tiny jewels around the fingers for thumb rings and finger-end rings.
8) Place a jeweled cross at the dip in the throat, then use gold or silver jewels to form a “chain” around the neck.
9) Use the jewels to outline the hairline, from temple to temple.
10) When wearing sandals or flip-flops, make a unique design on the top of the foot. Or when going barefoot, make flip-flop lines on the top of the feet with colored jewels.
11) Use the adhesive jewels to dress up finger nails or toe nails.
12) Make a tattoo-like design on the upper, outer part of the arm, or on the lower side of the ankle.
13) Place the jewels at random, in the hair, for lots of sparkles.
14) Outline the lips with the tiniest jewels you can find, or just place one above the upper or lower lip for a pierced look.
15) Make a cute design on one cheek.
Try these designs and some of your own for a glittery, sparkly night.

Homemade cosmetics: how to make nail polish
Ingredients needed to make your own nail polish, as well as how to recycle and/or use other polishes to create custom colors.
What is nail polish made of?
Nail polish is basically a mixture of various pigments and often textures in a volatile solvent, along with added film formers that aid in the durability and quality of its appearance. Lately there have been many advances in nail polish, including the use of Teflon and quick-dry materials.
INGREDIENTS:
-PRIMARY FILM FORMER-like nitrocellulose
-SECONDARY FILM-FORMING RESIN-like formaldehyde
-PLASTICIZERS-like dioctyl phthalate
-SOLVENTS AND DILUENTS- like acetates or alcohols
-COLORANTS- like organic D&C pigments
-SPECIAL FILLERS-like titanium dioxide–coated mica flakes
-SUSPENDING AGENTS
ABOUT THE INGREDIENTS:
Nitrocellulose is typically forms the primary agent in many nail polishes. It creates a nontoxic film that creates a shiny and strong material that's used as the primary film-forming agent. It allows the polish to stick well to the nail.
Special additives create various effects in combination with the pigments. Chopped aluminum, gold, and silver are added to many of today's polishes for a metallic, even neon, shine. Rayon and nylon also can be added for nail-strengthening purposes, though many companies are now leaning towards Teflon.
How can I make my own nail polish just for fun?
Recently, many crafting companies for children and adults provide kits that enable you to mix and match your own creations. Online you can find a variety of companies who will specially mix colors and types of polish for you based on your looks and your personality, as well as health concerns. This option attracts many women and the prices are reasonable.
Using colors that you already have in reserve and mixing them with a more neutral base, such as a shimmer or metallic pearl, creates a new shade for your enjoyment. Many glitter shades are available now in stores, as well as lighter, more natural shades. Mixing these with a vibrant color can create many different options for your polish. Use the basic color wheel properties to guide you in your choices. Always test the polish first on one nail to see its durability and the drying color.
I can no longer find my favorite polish in stores. Is there a way I can find it or make it myself?
Many of the online cosmetic companies offer a variety of options for personal expression. By sending in a sample of that favorite polish, the company will work to recreate it for you. A process like this will cost more than you normally pay for nail polish, but if it is THE color, it may be worth it!
If money is a concern, there is a more cost-effective way to go. As mentioned above, finding a base color will help you in the creation of your own shade. Find a base that closely resembles your favorite, and then add lights or darks to enhance the shade. Adding a pearl or nude color will lighten the base, while adding a maroon or deep red will darken it. Refer to your color wheel again for help and inspiration.
How can I mix my own custom nail polish, but with polishes I already have?
Mixing what you already have is a great way to create that jazzy new color you've been looking for. The best way is to wait until your bottle only has about a quarter of polish left. Then you can mix outside the bottle until you figure out the shade you want. After deducing the ingredients, you can add the color directly to the bottle without having to worry about storage. Use another brush specifically for mixing, even a watercolor brush will work, or add tiny bits of color with a toothpick.
Be sure to always test-paint your new mixture on a nail to see the dry color. Sometimes polishes dry differently than what they appear in the bottle, especially those with added elements like shimmer or glitter.
One other option to create a new shade is by illusion. By first applying a dark matte base, you establish a strong foundation. At least two coats of the base is recommended, though adding more may enhance the darker tone in your polish. Make sure that the base coat is COMPLETELY dry before adding any other color. Otherwise you will get a streaky effect that will spoil your brush.
Then add a shimmery, glittery, or two-tone top coat layer by layer. Usually two layers do the trick, but it depends on the type of polish. Experimentation is the key...you have to be willing to try out several shades and combinations before finding the right one. Luckily, you've got five fingers and ten toes in addition to your "writing hand"!
How can I do custom nail designs myself?
The simplest way to create intricate designs is by first practicing on paper. Using a fine-tip permanent marker works for the darker shades, but you will want to try out polish options as well. There is no specific tool that you must use; I recommend trying a variety of different items until you find one that works for your design. I've found that toothpicks or the top of a watercolor brush work the best for smaller dots and other related designs.
Many beauty supply shops offer a variety of different choice for the nail artist. There are even stencils available for quick designs! If you're looking for more than a subtle design, nail jewels are a great way to go. From gems to gold accents, these are sure to make your nails the hit of the day! Lately there have even been charms added to the nail by piercing it. I would assume that this would damage the nail, but if you use acrylic or tips, it may be an option. Check with your local manicurist to be sure. Always apply a clear top coat when you're finished designing - it will help keep the art from chipping and protect the time spent creating it.
There are many options for nail polish and it's up to you to take the leap and experiment. Unless you've got loads to spend on personal creations, it will benefit you to try out different techniques yourself. Then you can brag to all of your friends that you don't need a professional...maybe they'll even pay YOU to do THEIR nails! Have fun!
(NOTE: When working with nail polish or other types of odorous paints, it is always important to wear a mask so you aren't inhaling the fumes. Although you many not be concerned for simple nail painting, becoming a design creator requires more time with many open bottles. Running a fan that directs fumes away from you is also a smart idea. Have fun, but be careful!)

5 ways to change your look
Tired of the way you look? Check out these easy, fun ways to give yourself a makeover that will invite admiring glances and comments.
In a typical day, most of us are too preoccupied with work and families to worry very much about how we look. But when the kids settle down for the night and a spouse is settled in front of the television, you may decide to take a long look in the mirror and opt for some changes.
Don't let gray hair, sagging skin, or extra pounds discourage you. And don't think that plastic surgery is the expensive answer. Instead, focus on changes that remain under your control and can be achieved with minimal time and cost. Here are some of the quick, easy things you can do to enhance your appearance for a new and different look:
1. Hair today, gone tomorrow. Give your crown of glory a thorough analysis. Is the color starting to fade? Get a touch-up or color rinse from the drugstore in a do-it-yourself kit, taking the allergy and strand tests first. Or pay the small amount required by the hair salon for a first-rate professional coloring job; after all, you're worth it. Next, get a quality cut. Nothing can improve your style more. Then do a deep conditioning and shampoo, or have the stylist give you one. Experiment with arranging your new cut, and you will look like a million dollars.
2. Face up to it. Examine your face carefully in the mirror. Use a mild but effective cleanser to clear pores and remove excess oil. Moisturize day and night for soft, supple skin. Get a cosmetic consultation at the makeup counter of a major department store; in fact, why not get a free makeover? Many cosmetic lines offer this service as long as you don't mind listening to a sales spiel for their products that you will be encouraged to purchase afterward. You'll learn helpful hints, find out more about your skin type and suitable care, and get some ideas for a flattering makeup look. While you're at it, get matching nail polish.
3. You're a jewel. Next stop is the jewelry counter. Visit on a sale day to pick up good-looking necklaces, rings, bracelets, and earrings at fifty percent discount, or less. Coordinate your pieces for a variety of looks, from work to play, day to evening. A few, well-selected pieces can turn you into a different person.
4. Clothes make the person. Go shopping for the latest looks and sales. Try on a variety of styles until you find one that emphasizes your best features while hiding any unsightly bulges. Experiment with color, length, and fabric to find something truly different. Then get ready to dazzle co-workers and family.
5. Finish with accents. Pick out shoes, a handbag, and perhaps a belt or scarf to complete your new look. Stockings or socks may be in order, along with a hat or jacket. For the fun of it, consider buying new lingerie that only you will see, but it can still make you feel great. Try on a variety of items to see how you look in each. Assemble the final effect when you feel your best.
Enhancing your appearance can make you feel renewed and attractive in a fresh, vibrant way. Have fun in your new role, and don't wait too long to do it again.
